“Thank you so much Frank for allowing us to journey with you in the buying and selling of your Mirvac properties located here in the heart of beautiful Newstead”.
I first met Frank Lin and his mother and father back in the Waterfront Sales Office in 2013. There was an instant genuine friendship formed with this family and I warmed to Frank’s gentleness, but also to his “no nonsense” approach to securing a property. Consequently, they purchased a lovely wide frontage 2 bed in the Park building in the Northern side of the complex.
After a couple of years, it was time to sell again as they had the desire to move back to the old stomping ground of Mt Ommaney. Sharon and I sold the Park apartment for them and they moved onto the next chapter of their lives. This was not the end though as Frank would often drop into the Sales Office to say hello, sometimes bearing yummy treats or even gifts from overseas travels!!
Needless to say, when the family caught the “Newstead Bug” again they came straight to us and this time it was to look at Unison which is now regarded as one of the most prestigious and tightly held non–riverfront developments in Newstead. They purchased a lovely 3 bed plus study corner apartment on level 13 and it would serve to be their home for several years to come.
As history would have it, the suburban bug would bite again, and we were called upon to sell the Unison apartment. After a successful campaign where we aimed to minimise disruption to Frank and family as much as possible (as he worked from home) the apartment was sold in quite a difficult market but at a substantial profit much to their delight. In true Frank style, he and the family took us out to dinner at Gasworks to celebrate the sale and a lovely night was had by all.
They have since purchased back in the suburbs and Cameron and myself went down to visit and see the new home. What a contrast – a sprawling five-bedroom Federation residence complete with manicured gardens, a sparkling inground pool, a granny flat and ample lawn for beloved cat “Mario” to roam. Thank you again Frank for your hospitality that day- the special cheese, the fruit, your signature Chinese tea and the welcoming warmth unique to you and your “always smiling” Mum and Dad.
So Frank, when the urban bug bites again, we at Enclave are always here to help! Until then, keep in touch as you always have,
Bye for now
